Top Achievers – Sales Incentive

The Brief

To create the perfect recognition and reward trip for our client’s top sales achievers and their partners.

All attendees were UK-based and our challenge was to create a real ‘jaw-dropping’ experience as a reward for a year of sheer hard work and determination to achieve and exceed stretching performance objectives. The limitations were simply a sensible “not-to-be-exceeded” budget and a maximum flight time of 4 hours from the UK.

Quite simply, we blew them away!

Our Solution

We spent time with the client to understand their real “hot buttons” in terms of preferred style of trip, e.g., action-packed vs laid-back & leisurely, finding the optimal balance between group activities and time for couples to explore the destination at leisure, and of course, the all important venue criteria – high quality, exclusive, and somewhere the group would not ordinarily go to themselves on vacation.

After a detailed venue search, we settled on Marrakech as the recommended destination, with Sir Richard Branson’s fabulous Kasbah Tamadot retreat in the Atlas Mountains providing the perfect venue experience.

In fact, the size of the group enabled us to negotiate a complete buy-out of the property, providing our client and their guests with a truly exclusive and decadent home for their trip.

A carefully balanced programme provided opportunities for the group to celebrate together in style and experience the sights and sounds of Marrakech, whilst enjoying luxurious treats and time at leisure enjoying the Kasbah’s stunning setting and facilities.

As well as full pre-event and on-site project management, we were also responsible for creating a bespoke communication campaign which included a launch video, event website, carefully timed electronic 6-stage teaser programme and personal event app which winners could download onto their mobile devices to keep up to date on latest news and developments before and during the trip.  All of this was translated into a comprehensive package of branded on-site collateral including welcome pack, programme, menus, signage and delegate gifts.

The Outcome

Quite simply, we blew them away!  We’ve never heard so many “OMG!” or similar (unprintable) expressions of stunned amazement as delegates arrived at Kasbah Tamadot and began to explore the venue.  The feedback questionnaire was ranked 1 – 5 and we had virtually every question answered with 5 (the top score) – or in some cases, guests had inserted their own higher score.

The client was absolutely delighted and we felt privileged to have been able to deliver such an outstanding sales incentive programme for them.
