European Sales & Marketing Conference

The Brief

Our challenge was to organise the client’s European Sales & Marketing Conference, delivering a streamlined, professional and motivational event.

We needed a venue that was easily accessible and capable of delivering a busy programme for 300 delegates, including plenary presentations, divisional workshops, team building, gala dinner & awards programme and a small exhibition of event sponsors.

We delivered a balanced, integrated programme in a venue that was perfect for the client’s needs

Our Solution

The Don Carlos Hotel in Marbella was selected as the venue for the event and its combination of high quality accommodation, customer service and meeting space – with the added bonus of some “winter sun” – provided the perfect backdrop for the event.

We worked with the client’s European management team to guide the development of the event, helping to set clear objectives and providing a range of tailored programme options to engage the delegates and bring the programme to life, whilst remaining within budget.

Our in-house design team created a strong theme & logo for the event which we deployed across a wide range of event collateral & materials to provide a consistent creative platform for all of the meeting content.

We coordinated all of the pre-event communication with delegates via a dedicated website, managed the service provision from the venue and our ground partners and delivered the AV production infrastructure to provide a full-service event management package for the client.

The client wanted to ensure that their delegates had time to bond together and to see something of the local area, but agenda time was limited, so we combined ‘team bonding’ with dinner by organising a Tapas Tour around Marbella.

The delegates threw themselves into the tour and the post event photos revealed both their highly competitive nature (and creative interpretation of some of the rules) as well as their love of the great local cuisine which they enjoyed en-route.

The event concluded with a superb gala dinner & awards programme which celebrated the many outstanding achievements of the top performing teams across the European region.

The Outcome

We delivered a balanced, integrated programme in a venue that was perfect for the client’s needs.

The client was delighted to have an event that genuinely motivated and equipped their European team to achieve their business objectives.

The event achieved top scores in virtually every parameter in post event feedback.
